Living the High Life
I do not have a 'normal job' in fact many of my friends ask me when I am going to get a 'real job'.
I just snigger and say whatever. I am having the time of my life as it is and as long as the money keeps rolling in... Basically people think I am a slacker because my job involves me sitting in front of a computer all day, in the comfort of my home, wearing just a pair of pants if that is what takes my fancy. From time to time, I'll pack a bag, move to a new country, and then sit back down in front of my computer, with a new view from my window, generally one that involves a beach, or maybe some mountains. The scenery changes but the work stays the same. My job is not difficult, in fact anyone could do it, it is just that most people do not have the balls. I am going to detail here exactly how I make my living and I wonder how many of you, will drop what you are doing and join me? You could leave behind the worries of paid employment and work for yourself. You could instantly have a job which would enable you to travel. How many people are that lucky? Not many. Most people who do emigrate tend to do end up as Tefl teachers or working in some seedy bar, being paid peanuts for their hard labour. I, however, sit back and relax in the aircon, watching the world pass by from my window. The most effort I have to make in my day, is a stroll down to the local market stall to order my dinner. |
